Warranty Policy – Rock Autocare LLC

Rock Autocare LLC offers a 30-day standard warranty from the date of delivery on all pre-owned parts. This policy ensures product reliability while protecting both the buyer and seller under clearly defined terms.

1. Warranty Coverage

  • Duration: 30 calendar days from the date of delivery
  • Eligibility: Warranty applies only to parts installed by a certified technician or licensed mechanic.  We sell only engine and transmission blocks. Any accessories (such as alternators, starters, power steering pumps, A/C compressors, sensors, wiring harnesses, manifolds, torque converters, or similar parts) are provided complimentarily and are not covered under warranty.
  • Our warranty coverage applies only to broken or damaged engine and transmission blocks. Accessories or external components included with the order are not included in warranty claims.

  • Condition Requirements:
    • Part must remain in its original condition and packaging
    • New gaskets, seals, and fluids must be installed during installation
  • Resolution Options:
  • Replacement: If the part is verified defective, a similar quality part will be shipped
  • Refund: If replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued to the original payment method

Labor costs (installation, removal, diagnostics) are not covered under any circumstances.

2. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty will be void under the following conditions:

  • No DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) report from a certified mechanic
  • Installation by unlicensed or DIY technicians
  • Failure to replace engine seals, gaskets, or fluids
  • Damage due to improper installation, insufficient lubrication, or missing components
  • Modified parts or parts not returned in original packaging
  • Warranty period has expired

3. Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Email: contact@rockautocare.com
  2. Include:
    • Order number
    • Certified mechanic’s diagnostic report
    • Photos/videos showing the issue
    • DTC codes
  3. Inspection: Rock Autocare may request the part be returned for inspection
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the part is verified defective

Claims are reviewed within 3–5 business days. If approved, return instructions and a shipping label (if applicable) will be provided.

4. Return Window & Conditions

  • Return window: 7 business days from delivery for damaged or missing parts
  • Buyer must report issues with photos within this window
  • If damage is accepted at delivery with POD signature, return may be denied
  • A 25% restocking fee may apply to approved returns
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after inspection

5. Limitation of Liability

Rock Autocare LLC is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Shipping delays, missed appointments, or transit damage
  • Incorrect shipping address or part details provided by the buyer

Our liability is strictly limited to replacement or refund of the defective part.

6. Chargeback Policy

By purchasing from Rock Autocare LLC, the buyer waives the right to initiate chargebacks for warranty-related issues. All disputes must be resolved directly with Rock Autocare LLC.
